Ekaterina Egorova
mezzo-soprano, soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre opera
Ekaterina Egorova graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory in 2003 (class of G. Yakovleva) and after graduation joined the troupe of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
The artist took part in opera festivals in Riga and Syktyvkar, and is also a regular participant in the Chaliapin Festival in Kazan.
Critics note that Ekaterina Egorova’s voice impresses with its rich timbre and power: “Ekaterina Egorova’s magnificent mezzo sounds very bright and allows her to accurately convey the inner experiences of her heroine...”
As a guest soloist, the singer collaborates with the Latvian National Opera and the Musa Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
