Damir Zakirov
tenor, opera soloist at the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Damir Zakirov graduated from the Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory in 2010 in the class of Lyudmila Tserkovnikova. After graduating from the conservatory, he was a soloist at the Musa Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre and a guest soloist at the Erik Sapaev Mari State Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2012, the singer began working at the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory. In 2015, Damir Zakirov became a guest soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre, and in 2017 he joined the theatre’s opera troupe. Critics note not only the singer’s excellent vocal abilities, but also his artistry: “Damir Zakirov is an artistic singer, he knows to improvise, he is good in the role of lyrical heroes, but in comic roles he is simply incomparable.”
Damir Zakirov is a guest soloist of the “Zazerkalye” Theatre, the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Musa Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
