Victoria Voytenkova studied at the Music and Theatre High School in Zurich and Hanns Eiler Music High School in Berlin. In 2009–2011, she participated in the educational programme for young vocalists Scuola dell’Opera Italiana, organised by the Bologne Opera Theatre, where she took part in master classes held by Tiziana Fabbricini, Sonia Ganassi, Darina Takova, Bruno Bartoletti, and Vittorio Terranova.
She joined the Mikhailovsky Opera in 2012. At the Theatre, she performs soprano parts in the operas by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Pietro Mascagni, Antonín Dvořák, Boris Asafiev, and Engelbert Humperdinck. Here she performed Maiden in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Tsar’s Bride staged by Andrey Moguchy and the Tsar’s page in the concert performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden under the baton of Dmitri Jurowski.
