Semyon Antakov
baritone, soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre opera
Semyon Antakov graduated from the Rachmaninov Rostov State Conservatory in 2023, where his teacher was Honoured Artist of Russia Alexander Musienko.
While still studying at the conservatory, the singer began working at the Rostov State Musical Theatre. In 2021, Semyon took part in the troupe’s tour to Moscow on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre, and in 2022 to St. Petersburg on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
In 2022, the singer participated in the vocal department of the International Academy of Music as part of the XV International Winter Arts Festival. He took part in master classes with Sergei Leiferkus, Nikolai Golyshev, Dmitry Vdovin, Makvala Kasrashvili, Mzia Bakhturidze.
In December 2022, Semyon Antakov joined the troupe of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Reviewers note the thoughtfulness, precision and freedom of the young artist and his deep, textured baritone.
