Yulia Lukyanenko
first soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Yulia Lukyanenko graduated from the Kiev State Choreographic School in 2016. While still a student, she performed the main roles in the ballets “Paquita” and “Un ballo in maschera”. After finishing her studies, she joined the troupe of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Already in her third season, the ballerina made her debut in the roles of Odette (Swan Lake) and Nikiya (La Bayadère). “Artistry, ‘singing’ hands, smoothness and beauty of lines — this is what makes Yulia Lukyanenko’s dance unforgettable.”
In 2024, Yulia Lukyanenko became the first soloist of the ballet troupe.
