On this day, the Mikhailovsky Theatre will traditionally congratulate beloved St Petersburg with a grand gala concert featuring stars of opera and ballet.
The program will feature the best arias from classic operas, excerpts from famous ballets, and symphonic pieces that will provide the audience with unforgettable impressions. The concert will feature prima ballerina of the Boris Eifman Theatre Maria Abashova, principal dancers of the NOVAT Olga Grishenkova and Roman Polkovnikov, and stars of the Mikhailovsky Theatre’s opera and ballet, Olesya Petrova, Svetlana Moskalenko, Margarita Shapovalova, Semyon Antakov, Angelina Vorontsova, Prisña Zeisel, and Victor Lebedev. Special guests of the evening — prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre Svetlana Zakharova and violinist Vadim Repin.
