Roman Polkovnikov
Graduated from the Novosibirsk State Ballet School in 2005, the same year joined the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, where his repertoire includes roles of Albert (Giselle), Prince Desire (The Sleeping Beauty, rev. by Nacho Duato), Prince Orgeat (The Nutcracker, rev. by Sergey Vikharev), Apollo (Apollo Mousagetes, chor. by George Balanchine), Jose, Escamillo (Carmen, chor. by Roland Petit), as well as solo roles in the ballets Sonata, Come in! (chor. by Kirill Simonov), Tchaikovsky Pas de deux, Who cares? (chor. by George Balanchine), Immortal Beloved (chor. by Edwaard Liang), The Rite of Spring (chor. by Patrick de Bana), Dreams under a Leaden Sky (chor. by Emil Faski).
In 2015, he became a guest principal of the Moscow Musical Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre.
