Andrey Kasyanenko
soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Andrey Kasyanenko is a graduate of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. In 2004, the artist joined the troupe of the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre, and in 2008 he became a soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
Andrey Kasyanenko is equally convincing in both character roles and classical roles, and depending on the nature of his characters, he can be vividly expressive and academically precise. Critics note: “A student of the Leningrad ballet school, Kasyanenko has the manners of a genuine gentleman and partner.”
