Ekaterina Odarenko
soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Ekaterina Odarenko graduated from the Kharkov Choreographic School in 2010, and in 2013 from the Belarusian State Choreographic College, where her teachers were Klara Malysheva and Yulia Dyatko. As a college student, she took part in performances and gala concerts of the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. After completing her studies in 2013, the artist was invited to join the troupe of the Classical Ballet Theatre under the direction of Viktor Smirnov-Golovanov in Moscow (Moscow City Ballet). From 2014 to 2016, Ekaterina Odarenko was a soloist of the ballet of the Tatar Musa Jalil Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan, and since 2015 — a guest soloist of the troupe of the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre.
In 2016, Ekaterina joined the troupe of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Critics note her virtuoso spins, light jumps and amazing fine technique: “In Ekaterina Odarenko’s dance, the precision of detail is invariably combined with the depth of the image.”
