Ivan Gyngazov

Ivan Gyngazov graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire in 2013. In 2013–2017, he was a soloist of the Novosibirsk Opera, where he performed Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Vladimir in Borodin’s Prince Igor, and Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. He also performed Lensky at the Ekaterinburg Opera.
Since 2017, Ivan Gyngazov has been a soloist of the Helicon Opera in Moscow, where he made his debut as Manrico in Verdi’s Il trovatore. The singer’s répertoire also includes Calaf in Puccini’s Turandot, Andrey in Tchaikovsky’s Mazeppa, Vaudémont in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Herman in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades, Riccardo in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera, Sergey in Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, José in Bizet’s Carmen, Young Gypsy in Rachmaninoff’s Aleko, Paris in Offenbach’s La belle Hélène, and Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca. Nowadays, Ivan Gyngazov is a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre where he made his debut in 2019 as Riccardo in Un ballo in maschera. In 2019, he also made his debuts at An der Wien (Vaudémont), Semperoper (Ismail in Verdi’s Nabucco), and Petruzelli Theatre (Lensky). In 2020, Ivan Gyngazov performed Sadko in Tcherniakov’s production of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko at the Bolshoi Theatre.
