It is a natural urge in the creative soul of all musicians to go beyond their usual repertoire and communicate with the public by other means. With this in mind, the idea naturally came about for a series of chamber music concerts where the musical performance takes a different form and follows other rules.
The plush interior of the dress circle foyer will serve as the venue for a number of programmes presented by soloists from the Mikhailovsky Theatre orchestra and opera company, which will feature some of the best works in chamber music.
On December 26, on the New Year’s Eve, the soloists of the opera troupe will give a traditional festive concert in the foyer of the dress circle. We are preparing a rich musical program for the audience. Joyful, kind, bright, it will delight music lovers with the brightest hits of the Soviet stage, melodies from popular films and, of course, will create a magical holiday mood.
The name for the concert was not chosen by chance, because it is impossible to imagine any New Year’s Eve without the popular song of Andrei Eshpai to the verses of Yevgeny Yevtushenko.
Immerse yourself in the world of beautiful melodies performed by the artists of the opera troupe and spend a wonderful December evening in the cozy foyer of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
