Sofia Valiullina

In 2023, Sofia Valiullina graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Professor Ludmila Kovalyova). During her studies, she performed the role of Raymonda in Act III of Alexander Glazunov’s ballet “Raymonda” and the role of Laurencia in a suite from Alexander Krein’s eponymous ballet. She also participated in the Academy’s tour to Japan. She also took part in the nationwide television competition for young talents “The Blue Bird” and was featured in the documentary series “And All That Is Ballet” (2017).
In 2023, she joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre, where she rehearsed under the guidance of Olga Chenchikova. The dancer’s repertoire includes many solo roles, among them Myrtha (“Giselle”), the Fairy of Audacity (“The Sleeping Beauty”), the Big Swans and the Spanish Bride (“Swan Lake”), Variation (“Don Quixote”), Countess Cherry (“Cipollino”), and Congo (“The Pharaoh’s Daughter”).
In 2026, Sofia Valiullina joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet Company.
