Alena Demidova

Alena Demidova graduated from the Mussorgsky Ural State Conservatory in 2011 in the class of Svetlana Zaliznyak. In 2009, while still studying, the artist made her debut on the stage of the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre, performing the roles of Barbarina (“The Marriage of Figaro” by W.-A. Mozart) and the First Lady (“The Magic Flute” by W.-A. Mozart). She participated in master classes by Makvala Kasrashvili, Larisa Gergieva, Lyubov Kazarnovskaya. She performed the main roles in the operas of H. Purcell, G. Puccini and G. Verdi on the stage of the opera studio of the Ural Conservatory. In 2013–2015, Alena Demidova was a soloist at the Natalya Sats Moscow State Academic Children’s Musical Theatre.
In 2020, Alena Demidova joined the troupe of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Critics note that the artist’s voice is characterized by an even vocal line, a soft cantilena, roundness of sound and subtle phrasing.
