Alexander Filimonov
ballet dancer of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Alexander Filimonov was born in St. Petersburg. He graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 2021 (class of A. A. Stepin and F. Miozzi). That same year, he joined the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre. He participated in the premiere of the ballet “The Seagull: A Ballet Story” and worked on the production of the ballet “Crime and Punishment” based on the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky. In 2023, Alexander Filimonov joined the Mikhailovsky Theatre, where he performs solo and corps de ballet roles.
