Only for the Friends club members from 26 to 30 January opened advance booking tickets for the opera Pagliacci. First time part Canio at the Mikhailovsky Theatre will perform the famous American tenor — Neil Shicoff.

On 15 December, the Mikhailovsky Theatre hosted the Friends Club New Year celebration, which for the first time featured the ‘Friends Club Choice’ award — all against the backdrop of the clinking of champagne glasses and a wonderfully festive atmosphere.

We invite all members of the Friends Club on New Year’s eve, which will be held on December 15 at 19:00 at the lobby of the dress circle.

The Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand Prix is known in the theatre world as ‘a contest of good hope’. This year the show and contest by ballet school students will be celebrating its first significant milestone: its fifth annual production. Just as in previous years, gifted students will perform in a gala concert alongside established masters.

The Mikhailovsky Theatre is a partner of the Diaghilev P.S. Festival. On 25 November, the Bavarian State Ballet will give the first performance in Russia of Jiří Kylián’s famous composition Gods and Dogs to the music of Beethoven’s String Quartet in F minor, fantastically combined with the avant-garde sounds of Dirk Haubrich.
