Boris Pinkhasovich is a graduate of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory. In 2010, he graduated from the conducting and choral department in the class of Tatyana Khitrova, and in 2011 from the vocal department in the class of People’s Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva.
The artist performs on the best opera stages in Europe, is a guest soloist at La Scala, the Vienna Opera, the Covent Garden Theatre, the Bavarian Opera, the Paris Opera, the Monte Carlo Opera, and performs at the Salzburg Festival, festivals in Baden-Baden and Orange (France), collaborates with the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the Opera of Valencia, Geneva, Dresden and others.
Since 2011, Boris Pinkhasovich has been the leading soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. On the theatre stage, the singer performs the main baritone roles in the operas “The Marriage of Figaro” by W.-A. Mozart, “The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini, “La Traviata” by G. Verdi, “Manon Lescaut” and “Tosca” by G. Puccini, “L’elisir d’amore” by G. Donizetti, “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo, “Iolanta” and “The Queen of Spades” by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Previously on the stage of the theatre he performed the role of Marcel in “La Bohème” by G. Puccini, staged by Arnaud Bernard and Robert Carsen, and the title role in “Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky, staged by Stanislav Gaudasinsky and Vasily Barkhatov. He participated in concert performances of the operas “Carmen” by G. Bizet, “The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini, “Don Pasquale” by G. Donizetti, the first pro of “Boris Godunov” by M. P. Mussorgsky conducted by Vladimir Yurovsky

The artist performed the roles of Enrico (“Lucia di Lammermoor” by G. Donizetti under the direction of Riccardo Chailly), Marcel (“La Bohème” by G. Puccini) at La Scala; Figaro (“The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini), Rodrigo (“Don Carlos”), Ford (“Falstaff”) — in the operas of G. Verdi, Sharpless (“Madama Butterfly”), Marcel (“La Bohème”), Lescaut (“Manon Lescaut”) in the operas of G. Puccini, Onegin (“Eugene Onegin”), Yeletsky (“The Queen of Spades”) in the operas of P. I. Tchaikovsky on the stage of the Vienna Opera; roles of Andrei Shchelkalov (“Boris Godunov” by M. P. Mussorgsky), Belcore (“L’elisir d’amore” by G. Donizetti) and Marcel (“La Bohème” by G. Puccini) at Covent Garden; roles of Rodrigo (“Don Carlos”), Ford (“Falstaff”) and Paolo Albiani (“Simon Boccanegra”) in operas by G. Verdi, Sharpless (“Madame Butterfly”) and Lescaut (“Manon Lescaut”) in operas by G. Puccini, Onegin (“Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky), Andrei Shchelkalov (“Boris Godunov” by M. P. Mussorgsky), as well as the part of Major Kovalev (“The Nose” by D. D. Shostakovich, staged by Kirill Serebrennikov) in Bavarian Opera. The artist’s repertoire also includes the roles of Theseus (“Oedipe” by G. Enescu) and Ben-Said (“Le Tribut de Zamora” by C. Gounod). He took part in a concert in memory of Dmitry Hvorostovsky at Covent Garden, and a gala concert at the opera festival “Les Chorégies d’Orange”.
He worked with such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Mariss Jansons, Vladimir Fedoseev, Alexander Vedernikov, Kirill Petrenko, Vladimir Yurovsky, Mikhail Tatarnikov, Riccardo Chailly, Nicola Luisotti, Philippe Jordan, Daniel Oren, Giampaolo Bisanti, Michele Mariotti, Bertrand de Billy, Daniele Rustioni, Joana Mallwitz and others. He has performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Munich Radio Orchestra.
