Premiere of the opera “La Boheme”

On 4 and 5 April, the Mikhailovsky Theatre will present the premiere of Giacomo Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” staged by Vladimir Kekhman.
Does love and friendship exist in the bohemian circle, or is there only a semblance of relationships in this world? Will the characters be able to fulfil their potential or will they die without creating something truly great?

The main roles in the new production will be performed by young talented artists of two theatres: Margarita Shapovalova, Alexandra Sennikova, Sergey Kuzmin, Semyon Antakov, Alexander Shakhov, Alexander Bezrukov (Mikhailovsky Theatre), Kristina Kalinina, Diana Belozor, Nikita Mukhin (NOVAT), as well as invited soloists — Karlen Manukyan and Igor Podoplelov.
