Advance ticket sales for the Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand Prix — 9 and 10 November. The Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand Prix is known in the theatre world as ‘a contest of good hope’. This year the show and contest by ballet school students will be celebrating its first significant milestone: its fifth annual production. Just as in previous years, gifted students will perform in a gala concert alongside established masters.

The Mikhailovsky Theatre is a partner of the Diaghilev P.S. Festival. On 25 November, the Bavarian State Ballet will give the first performance in Russia of Jiří Kylián’s famous composition Gods and Dogs to the music of Beethoven’s String Quartet in F minor, fantastically combined with the avant-garde sounds of Dirk Haubrich.
