This evening will feature Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff’s lyrical works, performed by Maria Litke, Natalia Mironova, Boris Pinkhasovich and Boris Stepanov. The famous French conductor and composer Frédéric Chaslin will serve as their musical accompanist. The maestro put together the programme himself, choosing some of the two great composers’ most popular romances, including Lilacs; Why?; Tell Me, What in the Shade of the Branches?; and In the Silence of the Secret Night, among others.
