The ballet Cleopatra is a story about a little-known period in life of the Egyptian queen, when being attracted by power she begins to fight for the throne. Nikolay Markelov’s Cleopatra is a spectacular show with great inner energy. Maurice Ravel’s music, graceful and at the same time magnificent costumes with rich embroidery, transforming props, and the original dance pattern create a magical and attractive space, where everything is unique and at the same time as old as the world.
