Alexey Zelenkov

Alexey Zelenkov graduated from the Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatoire in 2015. In 2013, he participated in co-productions of the Novosibirsk Conservatoire and the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2014, he has been a soloist with the Novosibirsk Opera. His repertoire at the Novosibirsk Opera includes Tobias Mill in Rossini’s La cambiale di matrimonio, Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s La traviata, Biterolf in Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Baron Scarpia in Puccini’s Tosca, Andrey Shchelkalov in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Amonasro in Verdi’s Aida, Prologue, Tonio, and Taddeo in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Renato in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera, Tomsky in The Queen of Spades. The Game after the opera by Tchaikovsky, Belcore in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Marcello in Puccini’s La Bohème, Baron in Rachmaninoff’s Miserly Knight, Malatesta in Rachmaninoff’s Francesca da Rimini, the Bluebeard in Béla Bartók’s A kékszakállú herceg vára, Dr Falke in Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Bartolo in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Escamillo in Bizet’s Carmen, Igor in Borodin’s Prince Igor, Falstaff in Verdi’s Falstaff, and Ibn-Hakia in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta. He also performed at the Bolshoi Theatre (the title role in Verdi’s Rigoletto), Chelyabinsk Theatre, as well as at the Seoul Arts Center and other venues in Korea (2018).

Since 2011, Alexey Zelenkov has been a guest soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. At the Theatre, he performed Robert in the première of Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta staged by Andriy Zholdak, Renato in Verdi’s Un ballo in Maschera and Marcello in Puccini’s La Bohème.
