Dmitry Yankovsky
Dmitry Yankovsky is a singer and actor, a soloist of the Helicon Opera in Moscow and a guest soloist of the Stockholm Royal Opera. He is famous for his participation in the TV Competition “Golos” (“The Voice”) as well as for his roles in the Moscow versions of the musicals Mamma Mia!, The Beauty and the Beast, and The Ghost. Dmitry Yankovsky is the founder of the NeoClassic Project. His operatic répertoire includes Gryaznoy in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Tsar’s Bride, Escamillo and Moralès in Bizet’s Carmen, Figaro and Fiorello in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Tomsky in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades and Ibn-Hakia in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, the title roles in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Rachmaninoff’s Aleco.
