Svetlana Tokareva
Svetlana Tokareva graduated from the Novosibirsk Glinka Conservatoire in 2001 and finished her postgraduate studies at the Conservatoire in 2009. Since 2005, she has been a soloist with the Novosibirsk Opera. At the Novosibirsk Opera, she has performed Maddalena in Rigoletto, Flora in La traviata, Amneris in Aida, and Ulrica in Un ballo in maschera by Verdi, Olga in Eugene Onegin and Laura in Iolanta by Tchaikovsky, Polina and Countess in The Queen of Spades. The Game after the opera by Tchaikovsky, Lyubasha and Dunyasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Tsar’s Bride, Fyodor in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Konchakovna in Borodin’s Prince Igor, Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Rosina in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Suzuki and Kate in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Carmen and Mercedes in Bizet’s Carmen, Marta in Gounod’s Faust, Orlofsky in Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Varvara and Glaša in Janáček’s Káťa Kabanová, the Neighbor in Stravinsky’s Mavra, Sonetka in Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Krystina in Weinberg’s Passenger, Nike in Khachaturian’s Spartacus, the Frog in Polsky’s Terem-teremok, Priest’s Wife in Kravchenko’s Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda, the Money-Box in Steadfast Tin Soldier as well as the Snow Queen and the Little Robber Girl in Story of Kai and Gerda by Banevich, and the mezzo-soprano part in Desyatnikov’s Rite of Winter 1949.
