Yulia Stepanova
In 2009, she graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Lyudmila Safronova) and the same year joined the Mariinsky Ballet. In 2014–2015, she danced at the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko State Music Theatre. In 2015, she joined the Bolshoi Ballet Company. Her repertoire includes roles of Kitri (Don Quixote), Medora (Le Corsaire), Odette — Odile (Swan Lake), Aegina (Spartacus), Anna Karenina (Anna Karenina), Carmen (Carmen Suite), Aspiccia (Pharaoh’s Daughter), Raymonda (Raymonda), Nikiya (La Bayadere), Mehmene Banu (The Legend of Love), Mirta (Giselle), Lilac Fairy (The Sleeping Beauty), among many others.
