Daria Shuvalova
Daria Shuvalova graduated from the Novosibirsk Conservatoire in 2012. While still a student, she performed at the Novosibirsk Theatre of Musical Comedy. On graduation, she joined the Novosibirsk Opera.
The singer’s repertoire includes the following roles: Marguerite in Gunod’s Faust, Nedda in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Rosina in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Ksenia in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Oscar in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera, Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff, Violetta in Verdi’s La traviata, Liù in Puccini’s Turandot, Adele in Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, the title role in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden, and Liza Brichkina in Krotov’s Dawns Here Are Quiet. With the Novosibirsk Opera, she performed at the Bolshoi Theatre, the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Astana Opera, and toured to South Korea. She cooperated with Dmitri Jurowski, Karen Durgarian, Ainārs Rubiķis, Alberto Veronesi, and other conductors. The singer gives recitals at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society and in other Russian cities.
