Ksenia Ryzhkova

guest prima ballerina of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre

Ksenia Ryzhkova is a graduate of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (class of Marina Leonova). In 2011, the young ballerina won the Grand Prix at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, a competition for students of ballet schools. After graduating from the Academy in 2013, Ksenia joined the company of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Musical Theatre, where she performed principal and leading roles. In 2016, she joined the National Bavarian Ballet (Munich) as a prima ballerina, in 2022 she returned to Russia and from the beginning of the 2022/2023 season became a guest prima ballerina of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre. During her career, the ballerina has worked with such teachers and choreographers as Natalia Makarova, Olga Evreinova, Christopher Wheeldon, Liam Scarlett, Wayne McGregor, Ben Hughes, and Reed Anderson.
