Olga Cheremnykh
Olga Cheremnykh graduated cum laude from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 2014. In 2014–2017, she was a soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera. Since 2017, she has been a soloist of the Zazerkalie Theatre in St Petersburg. She has cooperated with Pavel Bubelnikov, Fabio Mastrangelo, Peter Feranec, Dmitry Volosnikov, Alexander Rudin, Oliver Weder, Mikhail Golikov, Anatoly Rybalko, and other conductors. In 2018 and 2019, she toured to Italy. In February 2021, she performed romances by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff with the Karelian Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Anatoly Rybalko in Petrozavodsk.
At the Zazerkalie, she performs Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutti, the title roles in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Giulietta in Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Kupava in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden, Marfa in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Tsar’s Bride, Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello, and the Countess in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. She also performed Micaëla in Carmen, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, and Nedda in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci at the Krasnoyarsk Opera, Olga in Dargomyzhsky’s Rusalka at the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, as well as Clara in Prokofiev’s Betrothal in a Monastery, Ännchen in Weber’s Der Freischütz, Marfa in The Tsar’s Bride, Mimì in La Bohème, and Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in the framework of the festival Opera for All as well as Tatiana in the framework of the festival Parade of Stars in Krasnoyarsk.
