In 2002, he graduated from the Vaganova Ballet School (class of Boris Bregvadze) and the same year joined the Mariinsky Ballet Company. His repertoire included the roles of Ali, Lanquedem, Conrad (Le Corsaire), Solor (La Bayadère), Basil (Don Quixote), Prince (Cinderella), Ivan the Fool (The Little Humpbacked Horse), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Ali-Batyr (Shurale), roles in George Balanchine’s ballets Symphony in C, Ballet Imperial, Theme and Variations, Four Temperaments, ballets by William Forsythe Steptext and In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated.
In 2010, he joined the Bolshoi Ballet Company, where his repertoire includes principal roles in the ballets Spartacus, La Bayadère, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, The Flames of Paris, The Bright Stream, Ivan the Terrible, The Lady of the Camellias, Anna Karenina, among many others.
