Liparit Avetisyan
Liparit Avetisyan entered the Moscow Conservatoire in 2008. In 2011, he was transferred to the Yerevan Conservatoire. In 2015, he graduated cum laude from the conservatoire.
Since 2013, he has been a soloist of the Armenian Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he performed Alfredo in Verdi’s La traviata, Don Jose in Bizet’s Carmen, and the Young Gypsy in Rachmaninoff’s Aleko. In 2015, Avetisyan performed Don Jose in Alexander Titel’s production of Carmen in Yekaterinburg, subsequently making his Moscow debut in 2016 as Des Grieux in the new production of Massenet’s Manon at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre. He returned there in June of 2016 as the Prince in the new staging of Prokofiev’s Love for Three Oranges and as Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia. In 2016, Liparit Avetisyan made his European debut as Fenton in the new production of Verdi’s Falstaff at the Cologne Opera. He also performed Rodolfo in La bohème with the Frankfurt Opera and Alfredo in La traviata with the Australian Opera in Sydney. In season 2016/17 Liparit Avetisyan made his Royal Opera debut as Alfredo (La traviata). His répertoire also includes Oratorio de Noël by Camille Saint-Saëns, Das Lied von der Erde by Gustav Mahler, Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach, and requiems by Verdi and Mozart.
Also active on the concert stage in recent years, Avetisyan has appeared at the 21st International Music Festival Stars of the White Nights in Saint Petersburg, Easter Festival in Moscow, Beethoven Festival in Poland, MustonenFest in Estonia, and Midem Festival in France. He also performed in benefit concerts dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide with Evgeni Kissin at the Carnegie Hall.
Avetisyan has collaborated with Constantin Orbelian, Anton Orlov, Vahan Martirosyan, Lior Shambadal, Juozas Domarkas, Michael Guettler, Vladimir Jurovsky, and other conductors.
