Irina Kolesnikova
In 1998, she graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Elvira Kokorina) and joined the St Petersburg Konstantin Tachkin Ballet Theatre as a soloist. In 2000, she was promoted to a soloist, in 2001, to a principal dancer.
Her extensive repertoire includes the roles of Odette — Odile (Swan Lake), Masha (The Nutcracker), Princess Aurora (The Sleeping Beauty), Kitri (Don Quixote), Nikiya (La Bayadere), Paquita and Giselle. In 2008, she performed the role of Judy Garland in Peter Schaufuss’s Divas.
