Daria Filippova graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Mikhail Glinka State Conservatory in 2015, where she studied under Lyubov Dudoladova. From 2016 to 2023, Daria was a soloist with the Voronezh State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and from 2023 to 2025, she was a soloist with the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Academic Music Theatre. In 2025, the singer joined the company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (NOVAT).
As a guest artist, Daria performed at the Tatar Musa Jalil Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
During her career, Daria has performed a wide range of leading roles, including those in operas by W. A. Mozart: The Countess (“Le Nozze di Figaro”), Zerlina (“Don Giovanni”), Second Lady (“The Magic Flute”); by Giacomo Puccini: Tosca (“Tosca”), Cio-Cio-San (“Madama Butterfly”), Liu (“Turandot”); by Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Iolanta (“Iolanta”), Lisa (“The Queen of Spades”), Tatiana (“Eugene Onegin”);
Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov: Kupava (“The Snow Maiden”), Oksana (“The Christmas Eve”).
She has also performed the roles of Aida (“Aida” by G. Verdi), Katerina Izmailova (“Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” by Dmitry Shostakovich), and many others.
