Dmitry Ivanchey

Dmitry Ivanchey graduated from the Rostov College of Arts as a violinist and a vocalist, from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow as a violinist, from the Rostov State Conservatoire as a member of chamber orchestra and form the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory as a vocalist. He has participated in master classes held by William Matteuzzi, Mario Melani, Elizabeth Bice, Rudolf Piernay, and other singers.

Since 2011, he has been a soloist with the Helicon Opera in Moscow. Since 2012, he has been a guest soloist with the Bolshoi Theatre and a soloist with the Zürich Opera. Since 2016, he has been a soloist with the Aalto Theatre in Essen. He has also appeared in the best venues of Brussels, Glasgow, Edinburg, Pesaro, Toulouse, Lyon, Kazan, St Petersburg, and other cities. He has participated in Ars longa Festival in Moscow, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Saaremaa Opera Days in Estonia, and other festivals. The singer’s répertoire includes Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Belfiore in Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Belmonte in Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Tito in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito, Guido in Strauss’s Eine Nacht in Venedig, Mengone in Haydn’s Lo speziale, Wenzel in Smetana’s Prodaná nevěsta, Števa in Janáček’s Jenůfa, Chevalier in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, Mozart in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Mozart and Salieri, tenor solo in Beethoven’s Mass in C major, and others. He participated in the first performance of the first edition of Prokofiev’s War and Peace and the first performance of Prokofiev’s Far Seas. He has cooperated with Nello Santi, Fabio Luisi, Alberto Zedda, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vladimir Ponkin, Marco Armiliato, Lothar Koenigs, Tomáš Netopil, David Afkham, Marc Albrecht, Enrique Mazzola, Alain Altinoglu, Yuri Simonov, Teodor Currentzis, Andrey Yurkevich, and other conductors, as well as with the composers Krzysztof Penderecki, Dobri Hristov, and Vitaly Khodosh. The singer’s discography includes Verdi’s Rigoletto under the baton of Fabio Luisi, Rachmaninoff’s Monna Vanna under the baton of Vladimir Ashkenazy and other records.
