Alexei Tatarintsev

Alexei Tatarintsev studied choral conducting at the Derzhavin State University of Tambov in 19982003. While still a student, he was a soloist of the Rachmaninov Chamber Chorus. In 2006, he graduated com laude from the Moscow Academy of Choral Art, where he later completed his probation assistantship.

In 2008, he joined the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre. At the Novaya Opera, he performs Lensky and Triquet (Tchaikovskys Eugene Onegin), Minstrel (Tchaikovskys Maid of Orleans), Tamino (Mozarts Die Zauberflöte), Alfred (Strausss Die Fledermaus), Count Almaviva (Rossinis Il barbiere di Siviglia), Vladimir Igorevich (Borodins Prince Igor), Duke (Verdis Rigoletto), Nemorino (Donizettis Lelisir damore), Prince Ramiro (Rossinis La Cenerentola), Prince Nutcracker (The Nutcracker. An Opera based on the ballet of the same name by Tchaikovsky), Rodolfo (Puccinis La Bohème), Romeo (Gounods Roméo et Juliette), Tebaldo (Bellinis I Capuleti e i Montecchi), and the tenor part in Puccinis Messa di Gloria.

In 2010, he performed the role of Yasha in the concert performance of Philippe Fenelons Cherry Orchard at the Bolshoi Theatre (world première). At the Bolshoi Theatre, he also performed the Italian Singer in Strausss Der Rosenkavalier (2013), Ernesto in Donizettis Don Pasquale (2016), and Rodolfo in La Bohème (2017).

Among his recent engagements: Ramiro (La Cenerentola) at the Mariinsky Theatre, Duke (Rigoletto) at the Palm Beach Opera and Malmö Opera, and Verdis Requiem at the Royal Opera of Versailles.

The singer has cooperated with Vladimir Fedoseev, Vladimir Spivakov, Saulius Sondeckis, John Nelson and other renowned conductors. He took part in numerous international festivals in Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Japan.
