Bakhtiyar Adamzhan graduated from the Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he was a soloist of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abay. Since 2013 he was the soloist, and since 2015 the principal dancer of the Astana Opera Theatre. The artist’s repertoire includes leading solo parts in the ballets Spartacus by A. I. Khachaturian, The Nutcracker by P. I. Tchaikovsky, La Bayadere by L. Minkus, The Fountain of Bakhchisarai by B. V. Asafiev, Don Quixote by L. Minkus, Le Corsaire by A. Adam, Karagoz by G. Zhubanova and others.
