Alexey Kuznetsov

Graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 1999 and the same year joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet. The dancer’s repertoire included the title role in The Little Humpbacked Horse (chor. by Igor Belsky), Old Taketory in The Princess of the Moon, or Story of Taketory (chor. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Alain and Clog dance in La Fille mal gardée (chor. by Oleg Vinogradov), Puss in Boots and Farandola in The Sleeping Beauty (rev. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (productions by Nikolay Boyarchikov and Oleg Vinogradov), Mikolka (Petersburg Dreams, chor. by Georgy Kovtun), Student in Faust (chor. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Grasshoppers and Cobblers in Cinderella, or The Crystal Shoes (chor. by Maria Bolshakova), Saracen Dance in Raymonda, Nutcracker Doll, Fritz, Pastoral, Chinese Dance and Trepak in The Nutcracker (chor. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Youth in La Sylphide.

Nowadays his repertoire includes roles in the ballets Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Bayadère, Cipollino, The Sleeping Beauty, Spartacus, Laurencia, The Flames of Paris, Romeo and Juliet, La Fille mal gardée, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Prelude, and ballets by Ivan Vasiliev.
