Polina Gasimova

Prize-winner of international competitions

Polina Gasimova was born in Moscow. In 2020, she graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (under the guidance of Honoured Artist of Russia Irina Pyatkina). Upon completing her studies, the ballerina joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre.
Since 2024, she has been a soloist with the Boris Eifman Saint Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre. Polina Gasimova’s repertoire includes the roles of Anna (“Anna Karenina”), the Wife of the Heir (“Russian Hamlet”), Nina Zarechnaya (“The Seagull. A Ballet Story”), and the Ballerina (“Red Giselle”). Critics have noted the artist’s superb technique and training, as well as her organic and convincing embodiment of every character she portrays.
In 2026, she joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet.
