Ekaterina Pilipchuk

director of the Mikhailovsky Orchestra

Ekaterina Pilipchuk graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory in violin class and continued her postgraduate studies at the conservatory (teacher — People’s Artist of Russia Mikhail Gantvarg).
From 2011 to 2022 she was an artist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. Since 2022 she is the director of the orchestra.
