World Ballet Stars in New Year Gala

On 13 January, on the Russian “Old” New Year’s Eve, the Mikhailovsky Theatre will welcome again its beloved public. The first event of the year will be the Ballet Stars Gala. Our visitors will enjoy a bright, festive program that includes masterpieces of the classical and modern ballet repertoire performed by dancers from the leading Russian theatres. The gala concert will feature the Mikhailovsky Ballet dancers Angelina Vorontsova, Irina Perren, Anastasia Soboleva, Victor Lebedev, Marat Shemiunov and Roman Volkov. The Bolshoi Theatre will be represented by Mikhail Lobukhin, Denis Rodkin, Eleonora Sevenard, Kristina Kretova and Igor Tsvirko. The Mariinsky Ballet soloist Anastasia Matvienko will dance with Denis Matvienko. The program will also feature the principal of the Mikhailovsky Ballet Ivan Vasiliev, whose performance will be a real gift to the public.

Booking for the performance is now open on the website and in the booking office of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Please note that the seating capacity of the auditorium is now limited. Children under 16 years old, according to the resolution of the city government, temporarily cannot attend the theatre.
Tickets purchased for the Ballet Stars Gala scheduled for 31 December remain valid.
