Tickets now available for upcoming season’s performances

Dear patrons,

We are pleased to announce that tickets for the upcoming September to December season performances are now available. From 17 May, you will be able to purchase tickets from the theatre box office. Work to update the auditorium seating plan on our official website is currently ongoing; we will inform you as soon as ticket sales resume online.

The upcoming opening of our 185th season will be marked with a number of premières. The opera company will present Gioachino Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, in a production by Éric Vigié, our friend and partner from the Opéra de Lausanne. The ballet season will begin with the première of Sergei Prokofiev’s Cinderella: Rostislav Zakharov’s historic 1945 production at the Bolshoi Theatre has been given a new lease of life by Mikhail Messerer. In continuation of our established tradition, tickets for première performances will first be made available to members of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Friends Club. Our remaining patrons will be able to buy them following a five-day period.

Our box office also offers the opportunity to purchase subscription packages for the coming season’s performances. For the convenience of our patrons, subscription packages will be made available for purchase from two box offices on the first day of sale. The box offices will open at 10:00; the main box office will remain open until 21:00 and the second, which will be cash only, until 18:00.

It is presently anticipated that tickets for the coming season will be available for purchase on the Mikhailovsky Theatre website from the beginning of June.
