The tour of the renowned American Complexions Contemporary Ballet took place at the Mikhailovsky Theatre to great critical acclaim.
Desmond Richardson who mesmerized both the public and the journalists by his amazing physique and exuberant energy became a real star. In his interview to a journalist of Delovoy Peterburg newspaper he said, ‘One should know and be able to do so much to convey all the details of contemporary life in action.
So dancers have to meet high requirements — they have to know different dance styles and be interesting persons. For example, I dance, sing, and draw. But most of all I love doing what I do now — express myself and my vision of the world in dancing.
We reinforce boundaries; our company consists of the professionals from different countries, virtuosi in different dancing styles. These are essential components of Complexions’ energy.
