Sticking to the New year tradition
Dear friends,
First of all, we’d like to offer your apologies to our youngest and most beloved viewers. Due to the current restrictions, the children under 16 are not allowed to attend our performances. We do hope that the situation will change in the near future and the theatre will be filled again with your sonorous voices. In the meantime, “The Nutcracker” will come to you. On 31 December, the most magical New Year’s ballet will be broadcast online especially for our young patrons.
We were shocked by the number of letters and appeals that came to us after we announced that the December performances would be rescheduled to January. Our regular visitors, doctors among them, have asked us to bring “The Nutcracker” back to the repertoire on 20–29 December and let them keep their favorite New Year’s tradition.
In this regard, the following changes will take place:
– Matinee performances on 19 through 30 December are canceled
– Evening performances on 18 through 29 December will be held as planned before
– World ballet stars gala planned for 31 December will be rescheduled to 13 January
Refunds for tickets for the canceled performances purchased online will be made automatically. Refunds for tickets purchased for children for evening performances will be made in full. You will need to apply for the refund to the theatre booking office or write an e-mail to tickets@mikhailovsky.ru before the performance, depending on the method of purchase.
