St Petersburg International Cinema Forum
On May 2-5, the Mikhailovsky Theatre is hosting the St Petersburg International Cinema Forum, dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the end of World War II.
The innovative format of the Forum includes films presented not only in the cinemas but also in the fine architectural ensembles of Palace Square, Alexander Garden and Arts Square.
The beginning of the Cinema Forum is heralded by the performance of the Mikhailovsky Orchestra and Elena Obraztsova (on May, 2 at 6 pm). At 7 pm the opening ceremony will take place at the Mikhailovsky Theatre and the guests will have a chance to see the premiere of the film by Alexey Uchitel The Edge.
On May3-5, films will be shown daily at 2 pm and 7 pm.
The entrance to all the events of the Forum is free.
