Public support for Brundibár
The première of the opera Brundibár at the Hermitage Theatre on 27 January, which is both the anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege and International Holocaust Memorial Day, promises to be an important event in cultural and public life. As preparations for the first Russian-language performance of the opera in St. Petersburg proceed, the number of diplomatic missions and public organizations actively supporting the project is growing.
