Photo exhibition of Kommersant Newspaper

On June, 18 an exhibition of the photos which have appeared on the front page of the Russian newspaper Kommersant opened at the Mikhailovsky Theatre. The opening ceremony was a part of informal program of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The guests saw the best photos of the key events of the contemporary Russian history. For one evening the Mikhailovsky Theatre was turned into the editorial office of Kommersant. The chief editor of the newspaper Andrey Vasiliev chose the best photos taken at the Governor’s reception in the Mikhailovsky Garden and the guests of the Mikhailovsky Theatre witnessed the creation of the new issue of the newspaper. The next day one could see the result of the process in Kommersant. The evening was crowned with a concert of the Russian rock group Mashina Vremeni (The Time Machine).

The photo exhibition is open till July, 7 (1-7 pm), the tickets are available in the theatre box-office. The public of the evening performances of the Mikhailovsky Theatre can attend the exhibition without any additional charge.
