Lectures before the performance

The Mikhailovsky Theatre continues the series of educational projects right before the performance the public has a chance to listen to a lecture about the history of the opera or ballet, about various productions and soloists of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

On April, 16 Nikita Dolgushin, the famous dancer and ballet coach, will deliver a story about La Bayadére, a most colourful ballet of Russian repertory.

On April, 28 the lecture is devoted to the opera La Juive by Jacques Fromental Halévy. The meeting will be held by Vsevolod Bogatyryov, a reader of the St Petersburg Theatre Academy. The lectures are held in the Fireplace Hall of the Mikhailovsky Theatre and start at 6.15 pm. Detailed information is available in the box-office of the theatre.
