La Bayadère: Live broadcast
On 16 November, Mezzo TV will broadcast La Bayadère (evening performance) live.
The production premiered this October, and now viewers across Europe will have a chance to see Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato’s new work. This is the Mikhailovsky Theatre’s first time broadcasting a production live for Mezzo, Europe’s largest TV channel dedicated to classical music, opera, and ballet.
The performance will feature Angelina Vorontsova as Nikiya, Victor Lebedev as Solor, and Andrea Lashshakova as Gamzatti, with Pavel Sorokin conducting.
The broadcast will begin at 19:00 Moscow Standard Time.
