For Contribution to Russian Culture

Artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Vladimir Kekhman was awarded with a badge of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation ‘For Contribution to Russian Culture’. Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky handed out the governmental award on 14 March at the ceremony in Moscow. Before the ceremony, the minister said that he was happy to award the people ‘who dedicated their lives to enriching our cultural heritage’. The official award document of the Ministry of Culture reads that Vladimir Kekhman is awarded ‘for his great contribution to the development of culture and many years of fruitful work’. The members of the Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre congratulate Vladimir Kekhman on the appreciation of his hard work and wish further creative success.
