Ernest Latynov – principal dancer of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
Ernest Latynov has been promoted to the rank of principal dancer of the Mikhailovsky theatre! The artist joined the theatre troupe in 2018, and in the first two seasons made his debut in the main roles of practically all the ballets on our stage. Today his repertoire features the parts of Spartacus, Romeo, the Nutcracker, Prince Siegfried in «Swan Lake», Solor in «La Bayadère», the Duke in «Giselle», the Prince in «Cinderella», Basilio in «Hidalgo of La Mancha» Conrad in «Le Corsaire», Désiré in «Sleeping Beauty», and the Tractor Driver in «The Bright Stream» ...
In six years of working at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, Ernest Latynov has shown himself to be an artist who respects great traditions, but constantly looks for a new approach to work. Without deviating from the choreography, the dancer always preserves his own unique style — he cannot be confused with anyone else.
Living each performance and truly transforming himself in his characters, he brings his own traits to every one of them. However different his roles are, they are always charming, romantic and sincere.
We congratulate Ernest on his deserved status as a principal dancer and wish him long and happy years on the stage, good health and inspiration!
