The anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg was celebrated with a gala concert on Palace Square. The evening saw performances from international opera stars, accompanied by the Mikhailovsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. Musical Director and Principal Conductor Mikhail Tatarnikov took up the baton.
