Anastasia BarunAnastasia Barun graduated from the St Petersburg Conservatoire in 2015. She also underwent vocal internships at the Washington Opera and Paris Opera.
While still a student, she performed Rosina in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Violetta in Verdi’s La traviata, and Iolanta in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta at the Conservatoire Theatre.
Since 2015, she has been a member of the Young Artists Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theatre. She regularly appears as a guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre, where she performs Ksenia in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Varya in Weinberg’s Idiot, Thibault in Verdi’s Don Carlos, Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and Gerda in Banevich’s Kai and Gerda.
In April 2018, she participated in the Tenderness Festival in Ganja (Azerbaijan).
In August 2020, Anastasia Barun joined the Mikhailovsky Opera. At the Mikhailovsky Theatre, Anastasia Barun performs leading roles in operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, and Ruggero Leoncavallo.
